N.E.R.D.S. is a universal homebrew created by Kevin Garrity.  Bards & Barbarians is a fantasy sourcebook for the system written by Kevin Garrity, Paul Fagundes, and Rodrique Egenberger.

Rules have been kept rudimentary, and flavor text deliberately short and vague, in order to facilitate individual interpretations.

N.E.R.D.S. and Bards & Barbarians obviously owe a lot to White Wolf and D&D 4e.  N.E.R.D.S. would not be ready for it's first sourcebook were it not for the community of N.E.R.D.S. playtesters that include not only the authors, but Nicole Hawkins and Colleen Bird as well. 

Both N.E.R.D.S. and B&B are not copyrighted and never will be.  Use them, change them, do what you will.
